Do They Like The Same? I think they do!

I Think Flying Is A Sport Isn't It? Well What You Know About Amelia Earhart May Be Wrong!
Here Are Some Theories
  • Japanese Capture- A multitude of eye witness accounts and/or reported findings of the final days of Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan, particularly at Mili Atoll and Roi Namur (Marshall Islands) and Garapan Prison (Saipan). These findings were accepted by certain high ranking Naval and Marine officers from World War II
  • Crashed and Sank- No sightings available, no eye witness accounts and/or reported findings. Undersea searches have failed to produce any evidence.
  • Conspiracy- Theories only that Earhart and Noonan were on some type of a spy mission based on multiple airplanes and diversions from a direct course to Howland Island. No proof of airplane cameras or multiple airplanes have ever been found.
  • Gardner Island- Theories held by the Tighar Group that Earhart crashed and survived at Gardner Island based on very scanty evidence that has never gained wide spread acceptance by the press.
  • Miscellaneous Crashes- Unproven theories without evidence that Earhart crashed at Bougainville after retracing nearly the complete route from Lae, New Guinea, to Howland Island. This would have been an impossibility based on the airplane's available fuel supply. There have been other reported sightings that are unproven.
  • Irene Bolam- These are the theories that a woman named Irene Bolam was in reality Amelia Earhart who returned from Japan before or after World War II in disguise. On her death the supposed Amelia Earhart had her body cremated which precluded any further examination of the remains. The Pulitzer Prize committee originally considered a book based on this theory for an award, but the prize was withdrawn because it was considered that the story could not be verified as true.

Tell Me What To Put On Here!!! I Can't Figure Out What To Do!!

How Volleyball Started!
The man that invented volleyball is named William G Morgan. He was a sports instructor at the Young Men's Christian Association, also known as YMCA. Originally the YMCA introduced a new sport that we know today as basketball. Morgan saw that the physical contact of basketball along with the fast pace tired the older businessmen that enjoyed participating in the games. So, he created a new sport with less contact and less court movement which he called "mintonette." This game eventually turned into the game of volleyball.

How Basketball Started!
Canadian born Dr. James Naismith is given credit for creating basketball in 1891 in Springfield, Massachusetts, where you will now find the Basketball Hall of Fame. As Athletic Director of the YMCA Training School, he had been tasked with inventing an indoor game to keep rowdy athletes busy during the winter season.
He took a soccer ball and a peach basket into the gym and invented basketball

How Football Started!
To most of the world, “football” means soccer. And in Australia, “football” refers to a game that looks a lot like rugby. As it turns out, American football comes from both of these sports — football and rugby. Rugby began in 1823 at the famous Rugby Boys’ School in England. The idea of running the football into the end zone to score a goal comes from rugby. Soccer is also from England, and was played as early as the 1820s. Kicking a ball through posts to score a goal comes from soccer. The American version of football was invented in the 19th Century by college students looking to make up their own version of rugby and soccer. By the 1920s, the United States had its own professional football league.
